“The World looks different as my Art changes”

So what does an Artist Life look like?
Well it’s a lot more work than it looks. Yet the most rewarding hobby/career I could have ever chosen.
I float around 4 main areas. Internet stuff, creating & designing artworks, Call outs and consultation for art commissions and the most boring part, packaging the paintings for shipping.
Internet stuff – uploading photos & filing in the details. Got to be done.
Creating and designing art – Yes most of the time I have a plan before I hit the studio. Why? I want to hit the ground running, plan in hand and then changes as I go with the flow. Trust me you want to produce to sit there staring at blank canvas, or even worse, make something unworthy. My designs can be on my many art journals I have spread throughout the house and studio. Of course near my bed! I don’t paint in the studio unless I’m feeling it. Yep, no flow, no go. If my energy levels are down I simply tidy up, the eternal pursuit of an artist.
Call outs and consultation – The callouts are done throughout Victoria. Heck if pay for flights I go anywhere. Anyhow, I tend to do callouts for people homes or business as they find me through Google and referrals. Remote consultation can be done for anywhere in the world. I have done over 1000 and they are one my favourite things. Only because the tweaks customers ask for help me develop even more as an artist.
Packaging – hhhmmm…it takes me over 2 hours to give it the right attention. Not a fan of the time kill yet I have NEVER had an artwork get damaged. Cross my fingers.
